Driving on the freeway, when I passed a truck the front end started to shimmy and shake, thought it was the road, changed lanes, went to accelerate and it seemed like the power wasn't there but it was shaking.

It could be a loose part in the front suspension such as a tie rod or ball joint. The other possibility, if you find it happens with acceleration, is that the motor mounts are bad.
Take it to an akllignment shop fiirst and they will tell you if you have any loose suspension components and the alignment you get will further stabilize the car.
