I am driving a 2006 W203 C180. I have recently changed all 4 disc rotors and brake pads. There have been squealing sound coming from the brakes every time I apply the brake. I have got it checked with the mechanic and some works were done to the brake pads. Brake grease was applied to the brake spacers and the pads were sand down a little. But the noise still persist. Could recommend any remedy to this? Thanks..

Use an adhesive on the backs of the pads instead of grease. Clean the rotor and pads, there may be dust between pad and rotor. Chamfer all of the edges of the pads. Inner and outer. No sharp edges. Sharp edges can catch rotor grooves and "sing".

I went down to the w/shop today and did as advised. We had few hard brakings and reverse hard braking too. The rear calipers were cleaned up throughly. After about 5mins drive, the 'singing' starts again. The mechanic suspects that the calipers could be the culprit.
Would you agree? Or could there be other issues that you may advise?

Maybe if the slides are too loose, allowing them to vibrate, or they're rubbing against the rotors, but I doubt it.
I'm wondering if wear indicators might have been bent. Does the shop take the car for a test driver after performing the work? Do they properly set the pads by pressing the brake pedal hard and stopping and starting quickly a few times?
