I have a 2006 Mazda Tribute S AWD. A few days ago I tried to unlock the doors with the key fob, and all door unlocked as they were supposed to except for the drivers door. After I used the key to unlock the door, I sat in the vehicle and locked the doors using the switch on the driver's door. All of the doors locked. I tried unlocking the doors using the switch, and all doors unlocked except the driver's door. Further investigation shows that the driver's door will only not unlock by a power option - only manually. The driver's door lock will lock manually or by power option. All other doors lock and unlock by the power or manual option. Any ideas what would cause this to only lock, but not unlock using power options? This car only has 59K miles, so it is troubling to me that this issue even exists!
I started after my battery died. What did you do to get it resolved? I contacted the dealer and they told me it would take seconds to fix but would cost me $99.00 to have them do it
