What would cause the rear tires to wear severly on the inside edge

This started on both at the same time and is 0nly about 1/2 inch wide.
Wasn't sure if this would be alignment,or parts failure,car does not ride like shocks are worn out, it is driven 100 miles a day hiway to work.

it is an alignment problem as to what caused it will have to be checked for parts wear/damage.
