How to unfreeze drivers power memory seat

The drivers seat will not move, it just clicks. I have checked under the seat for obstruction but nothing. It did move up but now that it is all the way up it will not go back down.

the motor may be bad. reach under and tap it with a hammer to see if it starts to work. if not it is time to check for voltage at the motor when the switch commands it to come on line

Check to see if there is power to the motor. IF there is, tap on it to see if it starts working. Also, make sure there are no bad fuses.

you can hear the motor running but just does not move

the track may be broken or the end gear of the motor
