What does the top part of the glove box tension device hook to?

I was changing he cabin filter and the tension device on the right side fell down. I cannot figure out what and where it attaches. Can yo help?

This is the bottom where the screw goes, I mean the other end that goes up into the box somewhere.

We have no pics of that, you'll have to follow it upa nd shine a flashlight up there to see if there is something similar to what you have on the box. It may have broken off as well so look for broken plastic
