2006 Kia Spectra Turn Corner Put On Brakes Quick Sounds Ocean Dashboard There

When I turn a corner or put on brakes quick, it sounds like the ocean in the dashboard. Is there a drain for this water and where would it be located? Also, the heat or air will only come out of the dash vents and not the floor or defroster no matter where you turn the dial. The interior smells bad and I wonder if it is coming from the water behind the dash.

Yup. Look for a 4" rubber hose with a 90 degree bend hanging down on the passenger side of the firewall under the hood. Squeeze the end of it to open it up and dislodge the debris. If nothing comes out, remove that hose and carefully stick a pencil in the plastic spout to clear it.
