heat not working

What will stop the heat no to work in the morning but after driving for a couple of hours it will work after i start the car. The vent lights on the car does not light up at first. After driving the car for a couple of hours and restarting the car, the heat vent lights come on and it blows properly.

Check to see where power is being interrupted when the problem occurs. At the switch? The relay? The blower motor? Maybe a bad connection?
