where is the ecu located on the early 2006 kia optima 5th vin digit D?

Hello,

the engine computer is located right on top of the transmission hump at the center of the dash.

Here is a diagram that will help you find it (below)

Can you please tell me where the computer is located on a 2002 Kia optima lx? The emu or emc I think, please forgive my ignorance, that controls the motor or engine performance

The Engine Computer and the Transmission Computer are in the lower middle of the dash. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

yes, the ECM for the 2.7L is behind the lower center of the dash. the ECM is combined withi the TCM on the 2.4L model and is also located behind lower center of dash

Thank you for listing the engine size. The locations are the same, but the modules are different. The engine/transmission computer is in the center console.

The ECM is located in the lower center part of the dash, heres a diagram. Is there a reason or any help we can give as to why you are taking it out of the vehicle?
