Rotors

I just got a used 2006 jeep liberty and the front rotors have "u" shaped slots in them I was wondering if that was a type of slotted rotor because the only slotted ones I have seen just have line slots on them

Would think previous owner drove with worn out pads and dug grooves into rotors

Would that make perfectly shaped "u" grooves around the whole rotor I believe there is 6 total all seperated evenly?

That is machined all rigt I went through every aftermarket/performance rotor supplies and did not see the like. Maybe owner did thta I don't have a clue. If it stops what is consern?

The steering column shakes when braking and brakes seem to be creating alot of brake dust im gonna have the dealership who sold it look at it just to make sure everything is ok with it. Thanks for your time

Shake on braking does indicate warped rotors maybe they will help out
