Check engine light came on, had the code read at advance auto and they told me that was the code. Where should I start with diagnosis? I'm not a mechanic but I can fix about anything if I just have to replace something. I have been researching this all day and think I can find and fix vacuum leaks as well as clean parts if needed. Thanks for the help.

This code indicates that the computer is not going into closed loop and there can be dozens of reasons for that that can be very hard to find. If this is your only codes then you really don't have anything to narrow it down and it's going to take a very experienced tech to recognize something this is not correct. All you can do is look for anything obvious that may be disconnected or damaged but something as unusual as the temp of the engine can cause this one.
