I have had this happen a few times over the last 6 months....when I start driving the trans will not shift out of first. Shut off vehicle and start back up it is fine, however the yesterday it didn't work and I am lost. Scanned vehicle showing a stuck shift soleniod and trans module fault. However pump water pump is also bad and I was told that improper coolant reading can cause the shift soleniod to work incorrectly? Any ideas.

Could be a sticking solenoid or the TCM itself
