ARE YOU USING IT?

IF SO, ARE YOU REALLY DRAWING A LOT OF CURRENT WITH YOUR DEVICE?

IS IT THE CORRECT SIZE FUSE (SEE OWNERS MANUAL, OR THE PLASTIC BESIDE THE FUSE FOR THE CORRECT AMP FUSE)

LOOK INSIDE THE HOLE, SEE IF THE GROUND (THE OUTER PORTION) IS TOUCHING OR CLOSE TO THE CENTER PART (12V POS)

OR SEE IF THE CENTER PART IS FLOPPY AND ROTATING INTO THE GROUND (THE RIVET IS LOOSE OR CORRODED AWAY, OR BENT OUT OF SHAPE)

THIS CAN BE CHECKED WITH A ARTIST PAINT BRUSH HANDLE AND A FLASHLIGHT. ANYTHING NON-CONDUCTIVE IF THE FUSE HAS BEEN REPLACED

YOU MIGHT LOOK AT THE BACK-SIDE TO SEE IF SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO THE POS AND NEG WIRES.A WOMANS COMPACT MIRROR AND FLASHLIGHT MAY HELP

CHECK YOUR OWNERS MANUAL AND SEE IF THAT FUSE CONTROLS THINGS OTHER THAN THE LIGHTER. IF SO, IT MAY BE YOUR PROBLEM

I'M SPEAKING SORTA GENERIC--I DO NOT KNOW YOUR SPECIFIC RIG WELL

I ANSWER THE CJ5s & 7s MOSTLY, I KNOW THEM WELL

A "GENERIC" REPLACEMENT CIG. LIGHTER MAY WORK IN YOUR RIG, FROM A POPULAR PARTS STORE. THEY WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO REMOVE AND INSTALL

LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES
