My liftgate light will not go off and the lift gate is closed

Maybe a problem with liftgate switch or wiring circuit. I'd have to look at it.

The switch is part of the latch assembly. If you live in a cold climate, check to make sure it doesn't just need lubericated. Chances are it is sticking with the cold temps we have been having.
