replace the engine in my car?

I would like to replace the engine in my car. It's petrol engine and would want to have it replaced with a diesel engine. Any idea as to what engine would fit in this car

I don't mind changing even the gearbox as well.

Any body to guide?

we don't have that car in U.S. so no idea check around locally at repair shops.

To change the engine to a diesel would be very involved you are better off purchasing the car with the engine you want it in already. You will be money ahead in the long run.
