2006 Infiniti G35 Slip Light Vdc Control Coming On That Also Little Red

The "slip" light and VDC control light are coming on. What is that? ALso, the little red indicator light to the left of my steering wheel is on and I don't recall that ever staying on before. What could be the problems?
