My 2006 tiburon wont start. It turns over but its not sparking. We have tried replacing the cqm and crank sensors, plugs and wires and also the coil pack. What else could it be?

I have the exact same problem with my 2003. Took it to the dealership and had the exact same codes come up. Replaced the crank sensor and still nothing. No spark either. Did you find out what the problem is?

Look at the coil pack. The plug between the coil pack and wiring harness is pulled so tight that the wires on the coil pack rub and short out or break where they enter the connector. I have found this problem on five 1991 to 2005 model Tiburon's within the past year. The engines would crank over but not run.

Try removing the wiring connector from the bracket (circled in red) on the coil pack. Using your finger. Slide it between the wire and coil pack along the length of the wire to make sure that it is not touching anything. At the connector itself. Straighten the wires so that they are entering the connector as straight as possible. Then try starting the engine again.
