While driving I heard a clunk and the check engine light came on, loss of power so I babied it back home. The car will start but it runs rough and when I press the gas pedal it stalls out. I am unable to get it running to take it somewhere to get the codes read. I thought it might be the MAF so I cleaned it well, but no change. I am hesistant to purchase a new MAF sensor if its something else. Could it possibly be the Throttle body sensor? Not sure what to do since I can't get it anywhere. I would like to repair myself, since I have limited funds.

Guessing is going to be expensive, waste of time and unnecessary work. You need the trouble code to understand what is wrong.
