I have to adjust the rear drum brakes on. Do I pull up on the e-brake handle a number of times or back up and hit the brakes hard a lot? There is no slot in the drum to get it adjusted and I took the drum off and tried to adjust but could not?

How do I adjust the rear drum brakes?

You cannot get to the star adjuster once the drum is on. I tightened the brake shoes as tight as possible to get the drum back on but they are still not up enough so I did what the guide said and all good. I love this site.
