We have been trying to get it running for two years now. It cranks but won't start. There is no spark. My brother in law has tried all the normal checks and ideas. We are just stumped. We don't know what else to try.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just a question first. Have you tried all four cylinders to see if getting spark? The problem is in the ignition system. Also, have you checked all the fuses? Here are a few tutorials to view:

Check all electrical connections as well. Look for loose/broken/burnt/corroded connections. I've attached below two pictures of the ignition coils. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
