I hit a deer and have front end damage - hood, radiator, bumper, etc. Engine light came on. Air bags did not deploy. Waiting to hear from adjuster. Question - is my car totaled?

How on earth would we know that? All body shops are equipped to inspect the damage, determine what can be straightened less expensively than replacing it, what must be replaced, and how long it will take. They will give you a pretty accurate and fair estimate.

Insurance adjusters will look for the cheapest route with no regard to the extra labor time it takes to make cheaper aftermarket parts fit right.
