Vehicle has a manual transmission. While cruising at any speed, or in any gear (not while accelerating or decelerating), I hear a 'whine' that sounds like a typical rear end whine on a rear-wheel drive car when its rear end has become worn out. I've never heard of this kind of sound happening to a front wheel drive vehicle before. I cannot determine the origin of the whine. What would you suggest I check/have checked? Thank you.
