Rattle/scraping sound coming from underneath the driver's side. Just started. Not sure what it could be?

Not when I brake and not necessarily when I accelerate, but as I'm driving there's a disturbing sound coming from underneath the car on the driver's side. It goes from a rattle to a scraping-like sound. It's not constant; it comes and goes while I'm driving. Seems to arise when the road dips or there's a bump. Very noticeable going over speed bumps. Noticed it starting just today.

Check the exhaust system for loose heat shields.
