That isn't something that will be listed anywhere. If the shaft was threaded to accept a lock nut under the original handle, you can use a die to see which thread fits. Often the handle has a real course thread cut into it that isn't any standard size. For those, you can coat the grooves lightly with grease, drill the hole in the ball just big enough to slide on, then fill the hole part-way with epoxy. Below where the ball will sit, wrap some masking tape around the shaft to keep the glue off. Spin the ball while you push it on with the glue in the hole. The grease will prevent the glue from bonding to the shaft so it will be able to be removed if needed. The glue will squish into the grooves on the shaft and it will ooze out onto the masking tape. Pull the tape off before the glue sets up.

The glue will be stronger than trying to tap the hole. The ball is going to crack and crumble when you try to tap it.
