My truck wont start and i replaced the fuel pump and still nothing. Whats next?

My 2006 GMC Sierra Denali didnt start one day after work a couple of days before that i had to hit the fuel tank a couple times and then it worked. So i replaced the fuel pump and still nothing. It just cranks and doest turn over. Please Help...

Are you getting fuel pressure to the fuel rail?
