2006 4X4 Ranger. I put truck in neutral selected 4X4 Low Range. Every thing worked fine until I selected neutral then selected 2X2. Truck will not leave the 4X4 Low Range. Hmmm?

Check to see if you have power to the actuator on the transfer case.

Remove the actuator to see if it is working properly. Chances are it is bad.
