I have a 2006 Ford Focus ZX5 with 142,000 km on it. When I am idling it makes a rattling sound which seems to come from the back end of the car and it seems like its chugging. It also is makes a squeaky sound at the back right end every time i hit even the smallest bump. I just got my sway bar links fixed a week ago and this sqeakyness ive heard in the past on and off and my mechanic has said it is nothing.

What can these problems be? I'm taking it in on Monday and I don't want to get taken advantage of because I am a girl.

The rattling noise coming from the back at idle could be something in the exhaust system loose heat shield cat etc.As far as the squeaking in the suspension it could something as simple as a dry bushing. It has to be looked at and listened too.
