I am looking at a 2006 f-150 4x4 5.4 V8. It has a rear main seal leak on the motor. It only has 83,000 miles on it. Is this a sign of motor problems or just a bad seal?

It really matters how the vehicle was maintained. Chances are it is just a bad seal. However, if the engine was abused, it could be worn bearings.
