when starting first thing in morning, when i put it in drive, it hesitates for about 4 sec. untill it goes into drive, should i get transmission oil checked? it has a sealed transmission.

yes, get the fluid level and condition checked,anytime there is a delay in engagement you should have it checked out.if it isn't low you may still need a transmission service done.
