Is it true that replacing the radiator cap with one with less psi, help to stop the leak in the radiator?

It may slow the leak a little but honestly that leaking radiator is a ticking time bomb that will get much worse without warning. You could even loose the engine over it or blow a head gasket your best bet is to just replace it.
