2006 Ford Explorer heater

Blower is staying on, the increase and decrease blower show on display but the fan itself stays on high and will not lower or increase. Off button does not shut off blower at all but all will go off when car is off, heat seems to work ok.

have it scanned it may be the blower motor speed control which is separate from the switch.
