fuel guage problems

haveing problems with my 2006 ford exsplorer changed fuel pump assembly to fix problem with fuel gage reading empty when full now a new problem exist i cant get the fuel gauage to read full it hangs between 3/4 full when actually full can anyone help

If the pump and sending unit are knew, then your problem is in the wiring/connector or the gauge itself. You can use a voltmeter to check the wires/connectors. Keep in mind, sometimes the gauges fail and will just have to be replaced.
