I have a 2006 Ford Expedition with the same problem. It stalls out in reverse and drive when I am at an idle or just barely giving it gas. It makes this tut tut tut sound and the RPM's are a little below 500. I have had an engine flush,(which made it worse),fuel filter change, cam sensor replaced-I think, and now a tune up and all plugs replaced and it still does the same thing. Last mechanic guaranteed me that the tune up and plug replacement would solve my problem. I take back to him tomorrow to discuss that further...If you figure out what the cause is let me know. I thought it may be a bad wire harness, but every mechanic says no. Help I don't have anymore money!!!
