my ford van upon exceleration my van air conditioning changes modes or air seems to stop then as the idle goes back to normal the air comes back on seems to be a vacuum problem

normal--this is called wot ac cut off to prevent ac lines and evaporator from freezing.

hope i am understanding your concern. does the ac not blow cold?
