2006 Fiat Palio Suddenly Clutch Lost Spring Back Engine Stalls Gear Engaged

Suddenly my clutch has lost its spring back and engine stalls when gear is engaged and clutch is released. Oil reservoir is full. Is it a case of air getting trapped or cylinder will need to be replaced?

If there is air in the system or low fluid either the master or slave will be leaking, check both first, check under the dust boots for signs of fluid leaking.
