Take a different trans that doesn't have it and try to make it work. In other words if you are in overdrive you can't If you leave in drive then it doesn't coast

How can I keep it out of overdrive since when I do put in drive it goes into overdrive automaticly.

Sorry I screwed up on this one you cannot take out the coast feature. It's there for mileage
