Between the speeds of 55 to 70 there is a slight buck or stammer. At fist I thought it was a transmission problem but I had a code, #3 cylinder not firing so I changed plug and point pack. The light went out for a day but returned. I have not done anything else to the truck. But I think it is in the timing or something. How can I trace that out to find out if that is the problem.

You have to scan for codes and freeze frame it so you can check all the values of all the sensors as they can also cause this as well as check fuel pressure, compression, and see if fuel injectors are firing. Lot easier to have a pro look at it will cost you les sin time and aggravation as these are really hard to diagnose.
