Will it hurt the engine to drive for a day or two if one cylinder is not firing?

Hi there,

Its not the best thing to do if you can avoid it, as the cylinder ids not firing if it is an ignition problem, fuel will be entering the engine as per normal and not being burnt during the cycle, it will be washing oil from the bores and undue wear from lack of lubrication will result, also the engine oil will be diluted as well and this is not desirable, I would get it checked ASAP.
