2006 Dodge Magnum Just Replaced Front Brakes January This Year Week Ago Without

I just replaced the front brakes of my magnum in january of this year. Just a week ago without warning im hearing metal grinding when coming to a stop from the rear. Could that just be another brake replacement needed.

You can be pretty sure it's worn out brakes but you can also be pretty sure that driving it this long has cost you rotors also.
