CAR STARTS BUT WONT GO INTO GEAR/CANNOT SHIFT. ALREADY CHECKED AND ADDDED TRANSMISSION FLUID

parked last night everything fine.
woke this morning started car went to shift into reverse and nothing wouldnt change from park to reverse
tired to shift into neutral wouldnt do that either

i assume the shifter wont move. check the brake light fuse as that circuit controls the interlock circuit.
