Will the TPS take care of bogging while accelerating, rough idle, and tapping on the bottom of the gas pedal while idling, and driving? if not what should I start with?

First, if the TPS is bad, it should have set the check engine light. If that hasn't happened, I would say that isn't the problem. Check for vacuum leaks. If the vehicle hasn't been tuned up for a while, you may want to consider that. As far as the tapping, that leads me to believe the engine has a misfire which inturn points to a tune up again. Bogging ofen times relates to a vacuum leak, MAf sensor, and yes it could be the TPS.
