the traction control system is not working and the abs light is on. What could be the problem and how much would it cost to fix?

The Anti-lock Brake Computer detected a problem, set a diagnostic fault code, shut the system down, and turned the light on to tell you. Your mechanic will read the stored code. That will indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis, then he will give you an approximate repair cost estimate.
