The panel is held on by a few screws, the arm rest and the door handle. remove the screws. The arm rest and handle will have a small plastic cap covering the screws. Remove them and the screws. Next, remove the door handle. After the handle, screws, and arm rest are removed, there are plastic retaining clips between the panel and the door. Gently pull on the panel to get the clips to come out. There is a tool designed to help prevent damage to the panel and clips. Many parts stores will lend them to you.
