I have a 2006 Dodge Caravan SXT. the illumination on the light switch box went out when the lights are on. The local dodge dealer said I would have to replace the light switch box.
I purchased a switch box and installed it but it did not work either. when I turn on the fog lights, FOG illuminates in green near the bottom of the panel.
Is there another problem or did I just get a bad box.

Did the dealer hook it up to the DRB III scan tool? All functions are tested with this tool, and should have produced the right diagnosis. A loos wire connector or bad module can be found with this? Was the wiring tested at the switch? You are talking about the master control switch on the driver's side?

No the dealer did not do any tests, the service Rep said it was the switch box. I purchased a new box and installed it myself.
