2006 dodge grand caravan sxt:

When cruise control engaged ("set" button pressed), after 5 second delay, brake warning light illuminates, stays illuminated until cruise is dis-engaged. Cruise works normally. No ABS light.
Brake warning light also illuminates when "Reverse" gear is selected, and light extinguishes when "Reverse" is not selected.

No fault codes. Service and Park brake systems checked and normal, brake fluid level correct. Operation of brake warning light is correct for park brake operation.

this might be a problem with the integrated power module at the left front of engine compartment. both the abs and cruise control go to that. There are 3fuses inside it though so check those as well as worn or frayed wiresnear it as one may be shorting out. I might also be a brake switch problem or a wire leading to it as well. Also check for corrosion around or on the module as it may not being grounding properly. Clean your battery terminal ends as well to make sure they are grounding as well.
