How to test brake switch b cuicit and would that make motor slow to respond in drive when taking of I think only happens when cold, any help well be greatfull thanks.

The easiest way is to use a scan tool to test. Alternatively you would need to remove the switch and use a continuity test.

The code you provided is also for a fault with the torque converter depending on manufacturer and we do not have any information for your vehicle.
If it is a fault with the torque converter, it would definitely affect transmission performance.
