Starter location?

Starter fuses keeps blowing. I change it then it runs for a month or so then blows again. After changing fuse this time car will not start.

Cold be a short in wiring, or maybe a starter relay bad or a starter drawing to many amps. Here is a guide to help you step by step with instructions in the diagrams below to show you how on your car.

Hey U149476,

It looks like the starter is located just above the passengers side drive axle. The top bolts looks like it will be a little tough to get to but hang in there and use a universal socket if you can.

Just replaced starter thought it was the problem. Not the problem it cranks when it wants. It's a chrysler sebring 2.7L. Is it some kind of sensor?

Check battery terminals to make sure they are clean and tight and not corroded. Check starter relay. Check for power to the smaller wire on starter while helper turns key to start position and starter isn't working.

Engine Mechanical problem

Can you please tell me where the starter is located on the above referenced vehicle? My car won't even turn over. We thought it might be the battery, but the headlights work. Thank you so much.

Your starter is located on left rear of engine, underneath vehicle. You can also just follow battery cable down and it will lead you straight to it.
