The windshield wipers come on and stay on at all times. They will not turn off, the only way to stop them is to unplug at the motor. I have replaced both switches on the steering column and also the motor for the wipers. I am now at a loss as far as what to do next. I have read that it could possibly the ECU, any thoughts.

Thanks
David.

This is more than likely an issue with the TIPM. This happens when the relay in the TIPM shorts and just keeps them engaged.

Unfortunately there is no way to replace the relay as it is internal to the TIPM.

The way to confirm this is to test voltage coming out of the TIPM with the switch off. If you have voltage then either the switch or TIPM is shorted and you have already replaced the switch so that leaves the TIPM.

Here is a guide that will help with how to use a test light to test for voltage:

Below is the process on how to replace the TIPM as I suspect that is what is going to be needed.

Please let us know how you make out with this. Thanks
