how to replace the oil pump in a 06 pt cruiser

Hello,

You need to start by draining the oil becasue the pan needs to come off to replace the pickup screen when you do the oil pump, here are diagrams that show how to to the job with instructions as well. Also disconnect the battery to avoid shorts. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Hello,

First disconnect the battery and drain the oil and remove the filter here is a guide to help you with that. There are diagrams below that give you the instructions on how to remove the oil pan.
