2006 Chrysler Crossfire While Merging Onto Highway Car Transmission Stoped

While merging onto highway car transmission stoped providing power and I had to pull over to the side of the road. The check engine light was on. Put car in park and then back into drive and the car worked again. This happened literally 1 day after I tood the car into get a leak fixed in the transmission.

take it back and have the guy look at it, he can scan for codes to see what went wrong.
